Lesbians in fiction Lesbians irl

What it means

A split-screen video contrasts a soft anime image of two girls tenderly facing each other with a chaotic, dark video-game fight in a wooden area. The joke exaggerates the difference between romanticized fictional lesbian relationships and the supposedly messy, combative reality; it can be sent as a self-deprecating reaction to relationship drama. Music plays over the clip, lending the frantic gameplay contrast extra comic energy; no clear speech is audible.
