Cybersecurity on Legacy Code
When you add cybersecurity to a 30 year old legacy application..
A white shirt is shown with its buttons replaced by a chaotic pattern of awkwardly sewn buttonholes. The joke compares adding cybersecurity to a 30-year-old legacy application with patching an old system until its architecture becomes absurd and unmanageable. It is used as a humorous reaction to clumsy security retrofits and technical debt.
