Game Updates Make You Age

Text on the meme

LEAGUE of LEGENDS new update every 2 weeks MINECRAFT new update every month

What it means

A video meme compares League of Legends getting a new update every two weeks with Minecraft getting one every month. In the bottom-right reaction clip, a person’s face rapidly changes from young to increasingly older and bearded, implying that waiting for Minecraft updates takes so long that the player ages dramatically. The joke is paired with Eminem’s melancholic hip-hop song “Stan” (feat. Dido), whose emotional, dramatic mood makes the exaggerated frustration feel even more tragic and absurd.
