Your Cat Has Mental Problems

Text on the meme

Your cat can have the same mental problems as you.

What it means

A video meme shows a sweet tabby cat being cuddled, then cuts to a wide-eyed kitten beside Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. The cat’s increasingly intense zoom-in and Bateman’s emotionless stare turn the caption about shared mental problems into dark, absurd humor, making it a reaction for joking about mutual psychological instability. Mareux’s darkwave track “The Perfect Girl” plays underneath, creating a moody, unsettling contrast that heightens the punchline.
