Wazzup Beijing reaction
America: “My fellow Americans” China: WAZZUP BEIJING
Xi Jinping sits formally in front of the Chinese flag, then the clip abruptly transforms him into a flashy rapper wearing a cap, patterned jacket and gold chain under the caption “WAZZUP BEIJING.” The joke parodies an American-style greeting and uses the sudden visual makeover with Shabl1’s “Mao's Red Sun” to present China as unexpectedly swaggering and hip-hop-coded, making it a reaction to nationalist bravado or an absurd diplomatic flex.
