I'm Leaving You and Taking the Kids

I'm leaving you and taking the kids

A four-panel rage comic shows a woman announcing that she is leaving and taking the children, followed by exaggerated crying faces, a collapsed figure, and a bleak dead-tree landscape. The joke escalates a breakup threat into melodramatic despair, so it is sent as an absurd reaction to abandonment, loss, or emotional devastation.
