He Was a Boy, She Was a Girl

Text on the meme

He was a boy She was a girl

What it means

A low-resolution video shows a small gray male cat appearing and disappearing on the left, while an orange-and-white female cat appears on the right near the end, with the captions “He was a boy” and “She was a girl.” The joke is a deliberately simple cat version of the lyric-based contrast, made funnier by the cats’ strange movements and the upbeat novelty music “Oiiaoiia Extended” by SihAlex, whose energetic electronic dance style amplifies the absurd reveal.
