The $35 Fast Food Feast
$35 = 1oz gold until Aug 15, 1971 in 2022: $35 one meal in a fast food restaurant 🤷♂️ You must have a large appetite wine 'em, dine 'em, then go home alone Not really, though. Went to Taco Bell yesterday and it was $22 for just me - 2 chalupa supremes, a mexican pizza and a chicken quesadilla with a large drink. I can see a big boy reaching $35. Bro you ate 2200 calories, assuming the drink was a soda. You are the big boy.
A Reddit comment thread jokes about how the historical price of an ounce of gold compares with the modern cost of fast food. One commenter lists an enormous Taco Bell order that cost $22, then another points out that the meal contained about 2,200 calories and calls him “the big boy.” It is used as a reaction to excessive eating, inflation, or someone jokingly claiming they can spend $35 on one meal.
