A humorous montage in the style of The Lord of the Rings shows dwarves gathered around a table, a dramatic fiery scene, Gimli receiving an unusual haircut from an elf, and an ending title card reading “directed by peter jackson.” The joke exaggerates Peter Jackson’s dramatic filmmaking style and the absurdity of the fantasy scenes, making it useful as a reaction to an over-the-top or chaotic situation.
