Be Soft But Be Ready
be soft but be ready
A floppy-eared rabbit lies calmly on the floor beside a handgun. The joke contrasts the bunny’s gentle appearance with the weapon, expressing a cute but prepared or potentially dangerous reaction. It is used when someone wants to appear kind and harmless while warning that they are ready to defend themselves.
