Shallow End Pool Bed

Shallow End

A two-panel image shows a tiled swimming pool covered with a blue tarp. The lower perspective makes the pool look like an enormous bed, creating an absurd visual illusion; the “Shallow End” sign adds to the joke by making the pool seem like a strange bedroom. It is used as a reaction to bizarre architecture, optical illusions, or an unexpectedly comfortable-looking place to sleep.
