Obscure Midwest Emo Playlist
so you only pretended to like my obscure midwest emo playlist ... yes babe
A grainy black-and-white drawing shows one person confronting another about pretending to like their obscure Midwest emo playlist, while the other answers, "... yes babe." The joke is a self-deprecating reaction to having niche music taste and realizing someone only tolerated it to be polite; it is shared when admitting fake enthusiasm or awkwardly accepting that someone does not share your interests.
