Chameleon Store Confusion

[At the chameleon store] Me: Do you have any chameleons? Clerk: I have no fucking idea

A customer asks a clerk at a chameleon store whether they have any chameleons, but the clerk cannot tell because the chameleons may be perfectly camouflaged. The joke is a pun on chameleons changing color and becoming impossible to find, making the clerk’s uncertainty both literal and absurd.
