Junji Ito Horror Manga Author

Text on the meme

Hello, I’m Junji Ito and I’m a horror manga author. Boo! That was very scary.

What it means

Junji Ito appears in a four-panel interview-style collage, introducing himself as a horror manga author. In the next panels, a cute anime girl suddenly pops up and says “Boo!”, causing him to jokingly react that it was very scary. The humor comes from contrasting his expertise in horror with an obviously harmless, cute scare.
