EN: A man lies under a blanket, then sneaks through the hallway, cooks strange fried eggs with sausage and ketchup in the kitchen, eats them with coffee, and returns to bed. The joke is his self-satisfaction: he makes an ordinary late-night kitchen raid and congratulates himself as if he had accomplished something heroic. Ashton Gleckman’s “Ice Dance” from “Edward Scissorhands” plays in the clip; its gentle, whimsical, slightly grand mood contrasts with the mundane cooking achievement and makes it funnier.
