Put Your Lips on the X
put your lips on the x
A blonde woman wearing a gaming headset smiles at the camera beside a large X and instructs viewers to put their lips on it. The clip then cuts to a man leaning toward the camera with a shocked, wide-eyed expression, turning the innocent instruction into a suggestive bait-and-switch reaction. MGMT’s dark synth-pop song “Little Dark Age” gives the edit an ominous, ironic mood that heightens the joke.
