Arctic Monkeys in Winter
ARCTIC MONKEYS
A fast-paced compilation shows monkeys in winter clothing and snowy environments, moving toward the camera and staring blankly. The joke is a literal visual pun on the band name “Arctic Monkeys,” with Arctic Monkeys’ “Do I Wanna Know?” playing over the absurd montage; the moody indie-rock track makes the monkeys’ serious expressions feel dramatically overimportant. The song is alternative rock with a dark, hypnotic mood.
