The Simpsons Predicted 2020
2009 JUSTICE FOR GEORGE ♡ 2020
A collage compares a 2009 scene from The Simpsons showing Chief Wiggum sitting on a person while Lisa holds a “JUSTICE FOR GEORGE” sign with a 2020 image of a police officer beside a police car. The joke suggests that The Simpsons predicted the George Floyd protests and police violence, using an eerie visual resemblance as a reaction to the events of 2020.
