EN: A gray-and-white cat sits calmly on the armrest of an armchair while a large light-colored dog approaches, sniffs it, and tries to crowd it out. The cat hisses and eventually jumps away, leaving the dog bewildered; the joke comes from the cat’s unexpected boldness and the eerie atmosphere of Rockwell’s “Somebody's Watching Me,” which turns an ordinary encounter into a suspicious standoff.
