Crab Having a Smoke

and im falling asleep and she calling a cab while he's having a smoke and hes also a crab

A crab sits on wet sand while holding a lit cigarette in its claw. The joke is a deliberately awkward rhyming verse that turns ordinary people into a sleepy person, a woman calling a cab, and a smoking crab, making the image absurd and surreal as a reaction to a chaotic situation.
