Homophobes Win Again
Well... I guess no Last of Us 2 Homophobes win again
A shooter aims a rifle at a seated person, who suddenly collapses. The clip then cuts to a black-background caption declaring “Well... I guess no Last of Us 2,” followed by “Homophobes win again,” while Vitas’s dramatic Russian pop song “7th Element” plays. The joke references backlash and controversy around LGBTQ+ themes in The Last of Us Part II, using an absurdly triumphant reaction and theatrical music to mock the idea that homophobes have “won.”
