Grandson Finds a Picture of Me
POV: my grandson finds a picture of me in 2070
A young man dramatically approaches the camera, examines a photograph, and reveals an older-looking portrait of Ryan Gosling in a suit. The joke imagines that the man will somehow become Ryan Gosling by 2070, turning the future-grandson setup into an absurdly confident reaction. College & Electric Youth’s synth-pop song “A Real Hero” plays underneath, creating a nostalgic, cinematic mood and reinforcing the Ryan Gosling/Drive association.
