Risky Text to Unemployed Friend

Text on the meme

Me waiting for her reply to my risky text My unemployed friend At 3AM

What it means

A hand-drawn video first shows a young man lying down and anxiously waiting for a reply to his risky text while holding a phone. After a dark transition, it cuts to a bizarre blue, wide-eyed character marching at 3 AM, labeled as the viewer’s unemployed friend. The joke contrasts ordinary romantic anxiety with surreal late-night unemployment energy, while Radiohead’s soft, melancholy song “No Surprises” makes the situation feel dramatically sad and absurd.
