The Fall of Orc Culture
“The fall of Orc culture in modernity.” A thread 1/4294
A tweet contrasts a brutal, muscular fantasy orc wielding a weapon with a cute romantic illustration of an orc embracing a human man. The joke is that traditional warrior-orc imagery has been replaced by softer, queer-friendly modern portrayals, framing this as the decline of orc culture. It is used as an ironic reaction to changes in fantasy character design and fandom culture.
