STARFIELD The Elder Scrolls V SKYRIM

What it means

The video opens on the Starfield title screen, then cuts to the opening cart ride from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, where the bound prisoner sits among other captives in a misty forest. Jeremy Soule’s “Awake” plays with a grand, serene video-game soundtrack mood while the horse-drawn cart’s clip-clop sounds continue, creating a bait-and-switch joke: the supposedly new space epic abruptly becomes the iconic Skyrim intro.
