A blue anthropomorphic toothpaste tube appears unchanged across four yearly panels, while a bottom caption asks for toothpaste with a crude twist. The joke comes from treating the tube as if it has been aging or changing over time, despite looking identical, and using “shitting toothpaste” as an absurd reaction to an unpleasant request.
