He Was a Boy She Was a Girl

HE WAS A BOY ШКОЛА РЕМОНТА SHE WAS A ФАЗЕНДА GIRL

Two young people stand awkwardly outside a building, with the captions “HE WAS A BOY” and “SHE WAS A GIRL.” The joke parodies the lyrics of Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8er Boi” by replacing the expected labels with Russian home-improvement TV show logos: “Школа ремонта” and “Фазенда.” It is sent as an absurd reaction to an obvious or overly literal contrast.
