Trying to Find the Plug Socket

Text on the meme

*trying to find the plug socket*

What it means

A young man in bed struggles to find a plug socket, then crawls behind the bed and discovers it in an awkward spot. His exaggerated searching and shocked, distorted reaction make the simple task absurd, while the cheerful Thomas & Friends — Thomas Theme (Reprise) creates a playful contrast with his escalating frustration. It works as a reaction meme for desperately searching for something obvious or inconveniently hidden.
