Studying Hard at McDonald's

Text on the meme

mom: *at mcdonalds* you should study hard if you don't want to end up like that worker over there the worker who is actually a university student, working hard to pay for their tuition fees:

What it means

A crying cat gives a thumbs-up beneath a caption about a mother warning her child to study hard while at McDonald's. The joke is that the supposedly pitiful McDonald's worker is actually a university student working hard to pay tuition, turning the warning into an unexpectedly sympathetic and relatable situation.
