Rip Colonel Grimes
Rip Colonel Grimes
A black-and-white photo shows Grimes sitting in a decorated military-style uniform, with the caption “Rip Colonel Grimes.” The joke treats her unusual outfit and persona as if she were a fictional military officer who has died, making it useful as an absurd reaction to someone or something being gone.
