Barbie Suddenly Becomes Oppenheimer
Barbie OPPENHEIMER
An elderly woman sits pensively in a dim, cozy room under the bright pink “Barbie” title. The clip abruptly cuts to a glowing nuclear explosion with the word “OPPENHEIMER,” turning the Barbie–Oppenheimer double-feature meme into an exaggerated reaction about a lighthearted movie becoming devastatingly serious. Christian Gaubert’s melancholic classical-style soundtrack makes the transition feel dramatically overblown and funnier.
