My Dog as a Barbie
My dog as a Barbie
A German Shepherd gradually transforms into an absurdly glamorous Barbie-like character, with a blonde wig, huge blue eyes, turquoise lipstick, and a butterfly hair accessory. The joke comes from the contrast between the serious dog and the exaggerated feminine makeover, set to Aqua’s upbeat Eurodance song “Barbie Girl,” which makes the transformation feel even more ridiculous and theatrical. It works as a reaction to an over-the-top makeover or someone becoming unexpectedly glamorous.
