Ken Dies in Barbie

Text on the meme

Directed by Greta Gerwig

What it means

Ken lies motionless on the beach, is revived by two women, and then appears dramatically overexposed beneath the “Directed by Greta Gerwig” credit. The joke exaggerates the claim that Ken dies at the end of Barbie, using a fake death-and-resurrection edit as a reaction to that misunderstanding.
