Amazing Mission Complete Guts

Text on the meme

Amazing. Mission complete you’re the best, Guts.

What it means

A dramatic anime clip shows a blonde character opening a door, Guts lunging with a sword, and the blade striking them before Griffith calmly declares, “Amazing. Mission complete” and praises Guts. The clip then cuts to a score screen, turning an intense Berserk-style action scene into a ridiculous video-game mission-complete gag. Susumu Hirasawa’s “Behelit,” with its dark experimental electronic atmosphere, heightens the mock-seriousness and makes the absurd praise feel even funnier.
