Please Send an Angel
GOD.. PLEASE SEND AN ANGEL. BE NOT AFRAID
A worried blonde woman prays beside an elderly man in a hospital bed, asking God to send an angel. Instead, a terrifying biblically accurate angel appears, making the phrase “be not afraid” absurdly frightening. The meme is used as a reaction to unexpectedly horrifying or unsettling interpretations of something comforting.
