Thank You to My Bullies
“I hope this motivates and inspires you” 😱❤️ A thank you to all the people who bullied me
A young man appears in a rapid montage of close-ups, formalwear, tennis, restaurant scenes, and selfies, transforming from an acne-covered, sad-looking teenager into a confident and attractive young man. The joke is a sarcastic thank-you to former bullies, implying their cruelty motivated his glow-up; Lewis Capaldi’s emotional song “Before You Go” heightens the melodramatic, bittersweet effect. The clip works as a reaction to bullying, personal transformation, or an unexpectedly successful glow-up.
