Happiness Is Submission to Godzilla
HAPPINESS IS SUBMISSION TO GOD ZILLA
A building bears the solemn message “HAPPINESS IS SUBMISSION TO GOD,” but graffiti adds “ZILLA” after “GOD,” turning it into “Godzilla.” The joke comes from reinterpreting a religious slogan as submission to a giant monster, making it a fitting absurd reaction to overwhelming power or inevitable defeat.
