Birds Discuss Learning to Code
I first learned coding in high school. Python wa I LEARNED TO CODE BY ROMHACKING MARIO GAMES WHEN I WAS 12. SPECIFICALLY SUPER MARIO WORLD AND MARIO BROS 3. ASMS WERE MY FIRST CODING LANGUAGES AND I HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE LEARNING OTHER LANGUAGES AFTERWARDS!
A four-panel comic shows birds discussing how they first learned to code. One bird learned through ROM hacking Mario games, while another jokingly claims that assembly language was its first coding language and made learning other languages difficult. The punchline is the exaggerated comparison between beginner-friendly game hacking and low-level assembly programming.
