Self-Awareness Extinction Cycle

I meet someone We become too self-aware We labor under the illusion of having a self We walk hand in hand into extinction

A black-and-white image of Rust Cohle from True Detective smoking while four arrows form a cycle around him. The joke presents meeting someone, becoming self-aware, believing in an individual self, and ultimately walking together toward extinction as an endless philosophical loop. It is sent as an absurdly bleak reaction to existential thoughts, social interaction, or humanity’s inevitable doom.
