Showing Mom My Anime Figures

Text on the meme

How I think I look showing my Mom my anime figures How I actually look

What it means

A man proudly presents an anime figure to his mother in the imagined version, while the reality shows a disheveled man holding an anime figurine in dim lighting. The joke contrasts a flattering self-image with an awkward or embarrassing reality. It is used as a self-deprecating reaction to feeling much less cool than expected.
