What it means

A motivational sports poster says that working hard should lead to playing hard, while Ash and Brock from Pokémon appear below it. The joke comes from Brock repeating the phrase incorrectly as “If you hard. Then you hard,” turning the slogan into absurd broken English. It is used as a reaction to mock motivational advice or nonsensical encouragement.
