Lifeguarding an Empty Pool

Lifeguarding an empty pool is so boring

A bored young lifeguard films himself before panning across an apparently empty outdoor pool. The joke is that the pool is not actually empty: several swimmers are submerged underwater, making the lifeguard’s job absurdly difficult despite the caption. The melodica-driven song “Bismack Biyombo” by Lil Phoebe plays with a playful, deadpan mood, making the reveal feel even more ridiculous.
