Kitten Drinks Cold Water

Cold water

A tiny tortoiseshell kitten repeatedly leans into a glass labeled “Cold water” and drinks from it, then wanders away across a desk beside books and a laptop. The joke is the kitten’s intense, almost human commitment to getting a refreshing drink, amplified by the mellow ukulele-led indie-pop track “The Loser” by Verzache, which gives the moment a dreamy, slightly bittersweet mood. It works as a reaction to craving something simple, refreshing, or oddly satisfying.
