Things I Thought Would Matter
Things I thought would play a bigger role in my life as a kid
A fast-moving video cycles through surreal images of chained underwater mines, piranhas, an erupting volcano, a cucumber spa treatment, a black hole, a blurred ocean scene, and asteroids around Earth. The caption jokes about childhood expectations by presenting increasingly absurd things that supposedly seemed destined to matter in adult life. The quirky music and boing-like sound effects amplify the escalating, nonsensical punchline. The audio includes the recognized track by CO0Lf15H, “....”.
