When Humanity Is More Dangerous

8 year old me who thought the most dangerous things on earth were quicksand and bermuda triangle witnessing the greed and hatred of humanity:

A long-haired, bearded wizard-like man sits in a candlelit study, surrounded by books and papers, intensely reading and reacting to a document. The caption contrasts a child’s fear of quicksand and the Bermuda Triangle with the terrifying reality of human greed and hatred. Soundgarden’s dark grunge song “Black Hole Sun” creates an ominous, dramatic mood that makes the character’s horrified reaction feel absurdly epic. The clip works as a reaction to realizing that humanity itself is the true danger.
