Five-Minute Drive Roadside Memorial

Text on the meme

How mfs be saying “nothing can happen, it’s a five- minute drive” before becoming a roadside memorial

What it means

A black-and-white animated sequence shows a group of strange passengers riding in a vehicle before it rapidly turns into a catastrophic crash amid wreckage and smoke. The caption jokes about people confidently saying that nothing can happen during a short drive, only to end up as a roadside memorial. The dramatic escalation is paired with kofawn’s “Agony,” whose dark, melancholic electronic mood makes the absurd fatalistic punchline feel even more intense.
