You’ll get it 2028 when we get Gaben back from his yacht You are on the waitlist, which means your place in line is beyond the number of units currently available for reservation. As we bring Gaben back from his well-deserved vacation on the yacht, some customers may cancel their reservations. If that happens, you may be moved into the reservation queue, and you’ll be notified via email that you have a reservation after all.
A dark reservation-status screenshot says the user will receive the item in 2028 because Gaben is away on his yacht. The joke references Gabe Newell and exaggerates a long waitlist by pretending Steam must physically bring him back from vacation before more units become available. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to absurd delays, shortages, or pre-order queues.
