It stops as soon as u hit ur usage limit now.. sadly. bruh, now it seems like OpenAI has removed it that Codex continues the task even when you've hit your usage limit... x.com/theo/status/20... You can kind of abuse this with Codex. I had a long running goal that did at least $800 of tokens after I hit 0% remaining btw at openai we made a deliberate choice not to cut users off mid-task when they hit their usage limits. didn’t seem helpful to stop someone in the middle of their work.
