Windows XP Launch Choir
Microsoft Windows
A choir in white robes performs on stage beneath the Microsoft Windows logo during the Windows XP launch keynote. The grand, almost heavenly presentation makes the operating system launch feel absurdly sacred and overdramatic, so the image is used as a reaction to exaggerated praise or ceremonial hype.
