Package Managers Were a Mistake

Package managers were a mistake. You can just build a random C tool from 1990 and it works. But Android application that is older than about two microseconds? Hour of fiddling with gradle bullshit, and then you give up and decide that beer is a much better way to spend time.

A screenshot of a humorous social-media post contrasts effortlessly building an old C tool with the frustration of maintaining even a slightly older Android application. The punchline is that Gradle dependency and build problems become so absurd that drinking beer feels like a better use of time.
